So, even though I thought I explained this sufficiently in my book, I am explaining it again! If I still fail to have you understand this concept, I am sorry.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;So I will provide another analogy for you, in my never-ending attempt to set you on the right road. (I suspect that I will still get many questions about how the Bowel Strength can work if it has no probiotics in it, and all I can do is keep trying to “undo” your current way of thinking…)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bowel Strength and probiotics like acidophilus work by helping the good bacteria in your bowel grow and multiply.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you had no money, you would die (of starvation etc). Likewise, if you had no healthy bacteria in your bowel, you would die, too. If you had $4000 in the bank, you would want it to grow and multiply. To do so, you could invest this money in real estate, gold, a money market fund, a CD, etc. These are all different investment vehicles, but they all help your money grow and multiply (well, in the good ‘ole days, but you get the point). Likewise, there are many “investment vehicles” for your good bacteria, as well. One of them is probiotics. Another is grapefruit seed extract. Another is berberine (these last two are in Bowel Strength). There is not one way to help your money grow, and there is not just one way to help your good bacteria grow and multiply, either.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;The vast majority of the clients that I have seen who have rebuilt the bacterial environment in their bowels have never taken acidophilus; they have done this exclusively with Bowel Strength.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bowel Strength and probiotics like acidophilus do the same thing. They do not immediately disappear when you are healing your bowel and body and getting to the cause of them. In the long run, they will disappear and stay gone effortlessly. (This is a far cry from the results you get when you simply treat them with crutches, which is inevitable failure, the development of new illnesses, and a shortened lifespan.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you successfully heal your bowel and body, you will experience a gradual reduction in the frequency and severity of your symptoms. (On the other hand, you are given instructions for using crutches in Chapter 10 of "This Works Crutches Don't," and these will immediately reduce your symptoms and improve your bowel movements, but do not confuse this with healing, and do not interpret this to mean that you have quickly healed your bowel and body.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;During the healing process, your body will release stored-up acidity from your cells and dump it into your organs of elimination. This is very positive and you will experience an improvement in your health and weight as a result. When you unplug the bottom of your pipe (organs of elimination), the acidity that was stuck in the middle and top will be released into the space that was just cleared away at the bottom. This is a wonderful thing that helps save your life, as trash at the top of your pipe is very harmful and undesirable. If your body can release it into your bowel because it is healthier, it will do so.&lt;br /&gt;During this process, however, you may find that a symptom that was better returns again (albeit, temporarily). This can, understandably, be confusing, upsetting, and frustrating—if you do not understand the healing process, and the actual “benefit” of this response!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To understand what is happening, imagine that you have holes all over the roof of your house.; holes over the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, tec.  And imagine that there is a man on the roof fixing these holes. Let’s also say that there are many more holes over your bathroom than your kitchen, and even fewer over your bedroom. If this man fixes eight holes/day—over all of these rooms-- the bedroom will get fixed first (as it has the fewest holes over it.) Prior to fixing these holes, if it rained, your entire house got wet. Now, when it rains, your bedroom will not get wet (because the holes over it have been fixed), but now your living room and kitchen may become wetter, as a result of the rain not dripping into your bedroom. Now, as you keep this man on the roof, eventually the holes over the kitchen and living room will get fixed too, and when it rains, these rooms won’t get wet either.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But for a period of time, they do get wetter when it rains.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To relate this to this process, you may have a lot of stored acids in your kidneys, less in your pancreas, and even fewer in your arteries. As you eliminate acids from your body with this process, your arteries will heal first, then your liver, and your kidneys will heal last, as your body heals from the “top” down (review Chapter 3 for an understanding of this).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So if it “rains,” i.e. you eat more sugar, alcohol, or a more cleansing diet of more carbohydrates and/or less protein, at some point the un-eliminated acids will no longer affect your arteries and liver, but more of them will be handled by your kidneys. This can mean that all of a sudden, your blood pressure goes up, or you retain more water (weight) than you were.&lt;br /&gt;This is not a negative experience. On the contrary, during these reactions, you are becoming healthier. This can be interpreted as negative when someone experiences the initial signs of improvement, and is mentally disappointed when the improvement does not continue uninterrupted. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is only after all of the old accumulated acidity has been eliminated from an organ that a symptom may be gone forever. It is only once all of the holes in your roof have been fixed that your house will not get wet when it rains.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You are used to crutches, and this experience can cause you to wrongly interpret these reactions and fail to heal your body. When you take a drug to lower your blood pressure, for example, and it does just that, you would rightly be concerned if at some point your blood pressure became elevated again while taking it. The medication is treating the symptom of high blood pressure and the return of that symptom means the drug may not be working anymore and may need to be increased. Your crutch is failing you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;During this process, the re-appearance of a symptom does not mean that the process is not working. Keep taking Bowel Strength or acidophilus and bentonite, and you will “move past this” onto even better health, and fewer symptoms. &lt;br /&gt;Or, if you do not like your kitchen getter wetter, make sure you have a large tarp over your roof. If you do not like these reactions, make sure your stools are well-formed, that you are taking your bentonite correctly, and that you are not eating too little protein, too much fruit, or too many carbohydrates, just yet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a very difficult concept to explain; yet it is a very important one to understand. Bowel Strength or probiotics, and bentonite can only do this if they are used correctly. Take the time to review the information and instructions in my book so that they are. &lt;br /&gt;This is a complex process, but it is more than worth it. What you do when you are faced with fears, misunderstandings, and frustrations will determine your success. Do you run away, or resolve to fight? Only the fighters will succeed. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Be patient.  I am never concerned about the physical condition a client is in as far as my ability to help them reverse this and heal their body; this is not limiting, except in the most imminent, life-threatening cases. The limitations in healing your bowel and body are almost entirely due to your emotional state of mind. Healing requires patience, faith, forgiveness, hard work, support, and gratitude. Finding the purpose in your current situation is also very helpful.We are very lucky to have found this road.If you do not give this program at least one measly little year to show you that it works, (nothing, compared to the decades that most of you have had unhealthy bowels and bodies!, and nothing compared to the decades you will spend with short term success but inevitable failure if you follow the crutch approaches), you will never succeed in attaining a symptom-free, addiction-free, disease-free body, free of weight struggles and obsessions. Of this I am certain. In fact, I would not blame calories, stress, genetics, laziness, carbs, or even an unhealthy bowel and body as the number one cause of obesity and death in this country—I would definitely say it is due to impatience, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7. Use crutches, because while they do not heal your body, they will help give you the patience needed to heal!&lt;br /&gt;Taking an aggressive amount of Bowel Strength (or probiotics, like acidophilus), and using bentonite, is a necessity for achieving a healthy, symptom-free, addiction-free, long-living and thin body. But your bowel is home to 100 trillion bacteria, and recreating this beyond-enormous environment takes time. And eliminating billions of stored acids form you body takes a long time as well. Hence, very few of you will succeed in accomplishing this feat if you do not use crutches along the way.&lt;br /&gt;Those of you who do or have used the crutches I recommend in Chapter 10 of “This Works, Crutches Don’t” have found a significant and immediate reduction in headaches, aches and pains, sugar cravings, bad Pap smears, and PMS. You have seen your skin look better right away, your energy increase, your stools dramatically improve, and your weight go down. You have begun sleeping through the night. You have gotten pregnant immediately, felt great during your pregnancy, and given birth to healthy babies. It both helps you quickly look and feel better by absorbing and eliminating acids from you bowel and blood, but it also helps to heal your body. It is both a mop to soak up the rain getting through the holes in your roof, as well as something that helps to repair those holes in the first place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As such, there is great benefit to finding the “right amount” of bentonite to use now, as well as great value in taking it daily and benefitting from the cumulative, healing affect of this product.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like Bowel Strength or acidophilus, you will see greater improvements in your health, weight, symptoms, addictions, and disease as you continue with this product over time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, if the amount of rain that hits your roof fluctuates a lot; if your diet, and the amount of stress in your life, varies, do not get discouraged by this, and your inability to perfectly offset this on a daily basis. Bentonite is the “mop” that soaks up the rain getting into your house, but since you will be, for the most part, using the “same size mop,” or the same amount of bentonite, on a daily basis for a while, there will be days when the amount you take does not soak up all the rain, and you house gets wet. There will be days that there are more acids in your blood and bowel than the day before, and the amount of bentonite you take is not enough to eliminate all of them. And that is ok.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As you continue taking bentonite, visualize the holes in your roof getting stronger; visualize the large pile of accumulated acids in your body becoming smaller. In both cases, as time goes by, this house, with fewer holes in the roof, will get wet less often. Your body, with fewer stored acids, will less likely become overwhelmed with acids (because many of the acids in your bowel and blood in the first place came from this big pile of stored acids; as the pile gets smaller, so does your vulnerability to symptoms, weight, addictions, and disease.) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This program is much easier once your body is healthier, and your daily use of bentonite is making your body healthier.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is the essence of this program, that one day “keeping your house dry” will be effortless. That one day, it will be effortless to look and feel great, avoid disease, and conquer your addictions. This creates symptoms, weight gain, and bad blood tests when your bowel is too unhealthy to completely eliminate these acids. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The consumption of a larger amount of cleansing food in your diet is, by far, the number one cause of discomfort on this program—or failure to see quick improvements in your symptoms or weight. Failure is rarely due to the Bowel Strength or bentonite.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Foods that are cleansing yield glucose or other sugars when they are digested.  This glucose stimulates the movement of acids from your organs into your blood. This is only good, and valuable, if these acids can be eliminated from your body once they become released. It will take some time before you are healthy enough to eliminate a lot of acids.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have started his program and are not looking or feeling better, check the list of cleansing foods below and make sure you have not added more into your diet (compared to the quantity you ate before you started this program.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eating a more cleansing diet is by far the number one cause of discomfort, poor stools , bad blood tests, and a lack of change in your weight or symptoms while you are healing your bowel and body!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most/Very highly cleansing foods: fruit and fruit juices, sugar and sugar-containing foods like desserts and sodas&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Highly cleansing foods: carbohydrates like bread, pasta, bagels, cereal, rice and other grains&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Moderately cleansing foods: dairy products (as they yield milk sugar when digested), like yogurt (fruit-flavored are much more cleansing than plain yogurt), milk, cottage cheese, cheese, and beans, including soy/tofu&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Non-cleansing foods: animal protein like chicken, beef, turkey and fish; green leafy vegetables (while the “dreaded” evil veggies like carrots and potatoes are slightly cleansing); fats like nuts, butter, and avocadoes&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Note: alcohol, coffee, and cigarettes are not cleansing. They are highly acidic and damaging to your body and bowel, but in the short-term they often make you feel good, not bad (hence our addictions!). Likewise, over the long run they will make it much harder for you to eliminate acids and to look and feel good. Notice that many of the diets that ultra-thin celebrities consume contain animal protein, vegetables, alcohol and coffee (they are photographed with “Starbuck” cups all the time), because they have learned how to eat in a way to stop the movement of acids into their blood, helping them become thin (at a steep price later on, of course. Year, after year, after year, after year, you hear the same old false promises of a quick solution to your health and weight problems with this approach. And you buy into them, because, hey, who doesn’t want to believe that you can eliminate decade’s worth of toxins in only ten days, as these imply!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cleansing does not heal you, or lead to permanent weight loss, symptom reduction, or illness elimination as this program does&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cleanses actually remove very little, if no, toxicity/acidity from your body. Rather, during them, there is “no rain hitting your roof”—you eat no acidic foods like coffee, alcohol or sugar, etc. Or, you ingest alkaline minerals and foods, like lemon juice, green veggie juice, or supplements like Milk Thistle, which buffer—but do not eliminate—the acids in your body, again, making you look and feel better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you look and feel better on these programs, you wrongly assume it means you eliminated a lot of toxins/acids from your body.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are only four ways to eliminate acids from your body—breath, sweat, urine and poop! There is very little about these diets, and nothing about these supplements, that help you breathe, sweat, urinate, or poop out more toxins/acids.&lt;br /&gt;Sometimes your bowels become more frequent during one of these programs and you wrongly believe—because this is what “they” wrongly believe--that this means you are eliminating a lot of acids/toxins from your body. Thankfully, this can—and must—be changed!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;…and as the generations go on, it keeps getting worse! &lt;/b&gt;As a woman, you “give” some of your good bacteria to your baby. If you had 50 trillion to begin with, you may pass on 25 trillion onto your child, and then when they have a child, they have even less to pass onto theirs, and so on and so on. They pass on 12 trillion, for example, and then their children only get 6 trillion—you get the picture? Pretty soon we will be extinct! You cannot live without a healthy bacterial environment. Once these levels get really low, you will not be able to reproduce anyway (nature’s way of protecting itself). Even modern medicine and infertility treatments can only do so much to force this to happen.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;In other words, your age, or size, has absolutely nothing to do with how healthy your bowel is, or how long it will take to heal it. In fact, most of my teenage and younger clients have much &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;less &lt;/i&gt;healthy bowels than their parents, and need more &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; or acidophilus to heal their bowel, not less! If you have kids, get them started on these products now. If you do not, the chance is extremely high that they will suffer from symptoms, disease, addictions, and weight struggles much earlier than you did. The statistics show this is already happening—cancer, obesity, headaches, diabetes, etc are occurring at the youngest ages in the recorded health history of mankind.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.25in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Cambria"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-list:Ignore"&gt;2.&lt;span style="font:7.0pt &amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;"&gt;    &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;You should have 100,000,000,000,000 (100 trillion) good bacteria in your bowel. That is an extremely large number, and it will take some time to create this!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;100 trillion seconds is 31,688 years. If you stacked 100 trillion $100 bills it would weigh 2,200 &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;million &lt;/i&gt;pounds. This is an inconceivable number. You should be absolutely astonished, and extremely appreciative, that this can be rebuilt and created at all! So when I say that it will take several years to create this, understand why this is so.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;And never, ever, ever, fall for anyone or any product that claims to be able to recreate 100 trillion bacteria in your bowel “overnight.” There are plenty of people out there trying to sell you this quick fix, and yet it is only they who will benefit, and profit, from your falling for it.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left:.5in;text-indent:-.25in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-family:Cambria"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-list:Ignore"&gt;3.&lt;span style="font:7.0pt &amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;"&gt;    &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;For 99% of you, 12 &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel &lt;/i&gt;Strength/day will not cause symptoms, weight problems, or bowel problems for at least one year or longer after starting it.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So if you do experience symptoms or weight problems during this program, consider that there is a 99% chance that these are occurring because your bowel is unhealthy.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;While you are healing it, it is not healed yet. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;Just because you are fixing the holes on your roof does not mean your house will not get wet when it rains—it will. You have to spend some time and fix a lot of holes before your house remains dry in the face of extra rain.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;In other words, it will take some time before you can eat more salt, sugar, alcohol, get less sleep, endure more stress, etc before these do not affect you.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Or, these are occurring because you ignored the strong and repeated advice in my book about reducing your protein intake too quickly, especially animal proteins like chicken, turkey, fish, beef. etc.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Re-read Chapter 8 of “This Works, Crutches Don’t” for a better understanding of what is causing your symptoms or weight problems while you heal.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you have been ill for more than a few years, you have struggled with your weight for many years, you have IBS, colitis, Chron’s, hemorrhoids, polyps, lactose or gluten allergies, a history of frequent but poorly formed stools, you eat a low carb diet and still don’t look or feel good—you have a very unhealthy bowel and will very likely be able to take 12 B.S./day for 2-3 years, easily, before it causes you problems! It does not mean that you have to take it for this long—you do not have to make your bowel extremely healthy to reap huge benefits from this program. Remember, when you have infrequent or hard stools, you are eliminating more fat-causing, disease-causing, symptom-causing, addiction-causing, and bad-blood-test causing acids from your body than when your elimination is frequent but your stools are too skinny, mushy, or loose.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;As you will recall from the explanation in Chapter Six of “This Works, Crutches Don’t:,” frequent but poorly formed stools are caused by an excess of unformed acids in your bowel (which also means a lot of re-absorbed acids in your body!) And remember, when you are constipated, there are &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;fewer&lt;/i&gt; unformed acids in your bowel, and fewer reabsorbed into your body (i.e. you look and feel better.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;When you eat prunes, prune juice, fruit juice, or any other food or beverage that stimulates more frequent elimination, this is occurring because these foods/beverages are cleansing—they cause more acids to move into your bowel, thereby increasing the irritation to it (it increases the number of unformed acids in your bowel—this is NOT your goal!!!). This increases the frequency of your elimination, but it also increases your weight, symptoms, addictions, etc. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;When you overreact to constipation, it usually backfires on you. You usually think you will look and feel better when you react to this state, but when you use a cleansing food like fruit juice or prunes to accomplish this, you will look and feel worse.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;On the other hand, laxatives like senna, cascara sagrada, and aloe simply cause your bowel to contract more intensely, and your elimination becomes more frequent as well—but because this is increased frequency is not caused by an increase in acids in your bowel, these remedies do not cause the symptoms, weight gain, etc that the ones described above do. At the same time, these remedies also do absolutely nothing to increase the elimination of weight-causing, symptom-causing, disease-causing, etc acids from your body. Finally, it is common for ones stools to become loose during the use of these products and one’s stomach to feel crampy, contributing to their lack of appeal (and by the way, if you do use one of these products and your stools become loose, this is not directly caused by the laxative, rather, it is confirmation that not enough acids were formed in your bowel, and that more bentonite—not less, as many of you are tempted to conclude! —will help eliminate your constipation problems). &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;If you are constipated, the best solution—the one that will help you look and feel better—is to change the amount of bentonite you are taking.&lt;/b&gt; Unlike the fruit which will make you look and feel worse, and unlike the laxatives like senna that will not make you look or feel worse, but do not help you eliminate more acids and so cannot make you look or feel better (aside from the relief of constipation)—bentonite increases the absorption of acids in your bowel, which improves the frequency of your elimination, while also helping you look and feel better at the same time!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Re-read pages 232-234 of my book, “This Works, Crutches Don’t,” for instructions on using bentonite correctly. Un-eliminated acids lead to weight gain, symptoms, disease, and addictions.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Every day, your bowel automatically “squeezes” (an action called peristalsis), in an attempt to eliminate the waste stored within. If all of the acids are formed into a stool they will be eliminated when your bowel squeezes, and your stools will look perfect. You will also be eliminating all of the acids that lead to weight gain, disease, symptoms, and addictions.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;When you eliminate every day but your stools are skinny, mushy, flakey or loose, very little of the acids in your bowel are eliminated. In this state, the reason you go every day is because a lot of unformed acids in your bowel irritate it, like a laxative This irritation causes your bowel to squeeze more aggressively in an attempt to eliminate this irritation (these excess unformed acids). Your body also sends some water into your bowel to try to dilute these acids, again protecting you. But at the same time, most of these acids have been reabsorbed into your body, leading to weight gain, disease, symptoms, and addictions.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Finally, when you are constipated, there are &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;fewer unformed acids, &lt;/i&gt;which means your bowel is not irritated or freaked out about them and therefore, your bowel does not squeeze so aggressively, But the stools are also not large enough to eliminate easily when your bowel squeezes.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Formed acids in your bowel do not get reabsorbed; only the unformed acids do. So if you are constipated, you are not helping to eliminate more acids by forcing yourself to go, or using a laxative to go, either.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Time and time again, &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;I see clients who go through this “constipated” state, and when they do, they are losing weight!, having less headaches and other aches and pains!, craving less sugar!, seeing better blood test results!, have more energy!, and on and on and on……&lt;/b&gt;(and just the other day, as I was explaining to a client why daily, not well-formed stools contribute to infertility, she had an “ah ha moment” as she stated that her sister, who has two children and has not had infertility problems, is constipated—while she, struggling with infertility, has frequent, loosely formed stools!!)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you previously had daily but not 100% well-formed stools with every elimination and you have hit this constipation stage too, rejoice. You are on your way! They measure the “amount of trash in the middle of your kitchen.” They do not measure how many holes are in your trashcan or how much trash is stored in your kitchen cabinets or closets.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Your blood tests could be misleadingly good if your bowel is super unhealthy and you eat a high protein, low cleansing diet that keeps the acids in your organs. Your kitchen could look very misleadingly clean if you have tons of trash stuffed into your kitchen cabinets and closets.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;On the other hand, if six months into this program you have 25% fewer “holes in your trashcan”—i.e. a stronger bowel bacterial environment, and you have 25% fewer acids (or trash) in your organs (or kitchen cabinets), but you take too much bentonite, or two to three days before the test you eat a lot of fruit or less protein than before you started this program, your body will dump more acids into your blood then you can eliminate and your blood test will look bad—even though YOU ARE HEALTHIER!!! If you clean a big pile of trash out of your closets and dump it into your kitchen—more trash than you have space in your stronger trashcan for--your kitchen will be a mess. For a doctor, or you, to then conclude that you, or your house, is worse or less healthy than before is entirely wrong.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:16.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Your blood test has absolutely ZERO correlation to the health of your bowel or body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;Until your bowel and body are super healthy, your blood tests will be bad if you eat a cleansing diet or take the wrong amount of bentonite. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you do these lousy tests and they are worse than before, you are not less healthy than before!! In 95% of the cases this means that you have reduced your protein intake too quickly (you guys keep doing this against my very urgent advice that you not do this!), or that you are taking too much bentonite and moving old acids into your blood faster than you can eliminate them (ie your stools are worse in form than they were on day one, a situation you are told to correct by me, or in Chapter 8 of my book.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;How much of the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; or acidophilus you tolerate is a key indication of the health of your bowel bacterial environment, and pH tests are a key indication of the health of your organs. These “tests” give you an accurate, and safe!,&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;measurement of your health.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;You have a much greater chance of healing your bowel and body if you choose not to have these tests done. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;To manipulate your blood test levels—if you still insist on having these horrible tests done—take 3,000 mg of calcium citrate the day before, and day of, your test, eat a high protein, low carbohydrate diet the day before your test, and take the right amount of bentonite that results in perfectly well-formed stools, and NEVER get these tests done if your stools have been loose, soft, or more than 1x/day and NOT 100% perfectly formed!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Finally, when a variable on a blood test comes out too high, it means you need MORE of that nutrient, etc., not less! For example, if your TSH levels are too high, your doctor will prescribe MORE thyroid hormones, not less. Why they can’t figure this out with other variables is beyond me, but clearly they haven’t, so you must take this into your hands. Time and again, if a client’s iron levels, or calcium levels, etc come back elevated on a blood test, these are brought back into normal range with larger amounts of iron and calcium, not less!! If you run into this situation and need my knowledge and support to correct your levels, let me know.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Likewise, if your vitamin B-12 levels come back too high, it does not mean you are taking too much, it means you have too little. Increasing your B-12 levels substantially will improve these levels. If your progesterone levels are too high, you are not ingesting too much progesterone! If you take the correct amount of an increased amount of progesterone (and NOT the synthetic kind your doctor will sell you, but the natural kind mentioned in my book), these levels will normalize. I have seen this happen time and time again!!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;If your blood test is bad it does not mean that you do not have a healthier bowel or body. But your bowel is home to 100 trillion bacteria, and recreating this beyond-enormous environment takes time. Very few of you will succeed in accomplishing this feat if you do not use crutches along the way.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Those of you who do or have used the crutches I recommend in Chapter 10 of “This Works, Crutches Don’t” have found a significant and immediate reduction in headaches, aches and pains, sugar cravings, bad Pap smears, and PMS. You have seen your skin look better right away, your energy increase, your stools dramatically improve, and your weight go down. You have begun sleeping through the night. You have gotten pregnant immediately, felt great during your pregnancy, and given birth to healthy babies. You have seen your blood tests improve, and even just the other day, adding the right crutch to the program kept a 16-year-old girl from having to be admitted to Children’s Hospital. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;So I am concerned when I hear that some of you are not using these crutches and relying only on the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; or probiotics. The chance you will have the patience to wait years to see and feel the benefits of this are extremely low. I wonder if you read my book and did not read Chapter 10, or if you did, perhaps you did not read it very carefully? Because ‘tis the time of year that weight is especially on everyone’s mind, and you will be hearing a zillion ads and commercials marketing the “will always fail crutch approach to weight loss!”—I will state this boldly in regard to your weight:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;Fat does not make you fat. Excess acids in your blood do!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;A lack of exercise, too many carbs, and a lack of willpower are not the cause of excess weight—excess acids are!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Hence, until your bowel is healthier and better able to eliminate acids from your blood that cause weight, symptoms, and bad blood tests, it is helpful to minimize the acids in your blood in other ways.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;The foods you eat have a profound effect on the acids that are present in your blood.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;There are several “ways” to reduce the acids in your blood with your diet. One, reduce the acidic foods that you eat. This reduces the “new” acids that enter into your blood. Two, eat foods that are not cleansing—that do not cause the old acids in your cells/organs to be discarded into your blood. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Healthy fats satisfy these two requirements.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Healthy fats include olive oil, cold/expeller-pressed oils, nuts and seeds and their butters, avocadoes, and butter! These foods are non-acidic, or very low in acidity. This reduces the new acids entering into your blood, which reduces symptoms, weight gain, and bad blood tests.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;These fats are also not cleansing, They do not cause old acids to dump into your blood from your cells/organs. For now, this is desirable, and it means fewer symptoms, fewer weight problems, and better blood tests.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Additionally, by eating more of these fats/foods, you are very likely to eat less acidic, cleansing foods that trigger symptoms, weight gain, and bad blood tests.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;So eat more of these healthy fats, and your weight will go down, your symptoms will reduce, and your blood tests will look better.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;How much should you eat? Eat a lot more than you think. A long-term, healthy diet is comprised of about 25% fat—that is quite a bit! It may mean that you eat 2 tablespoons of butter, ½ avocado and 2 tablespoons of olive oil a day—or more.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Remember, you need to re-program your brain to rethink the cause of weight gain, symptoms, elevated cholesterol, etc. Acids in your blood that have not been eliminated by your bowel cause these (and these can be reduced by the foods you eat. Used correctly, sourdough can help you achieve these results.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;Therefore, let me expand upon and clarify the recommendations in my book for eating sourdough products. One, there is “good” sourdough and “bad” sourdough (just as there is good salt and bad salt, good fats and bad fats, etc.) The good sourdough is made from a sourdough starter. The bad sourdough is made from yeast. Check the ingredients label on the bread bag or ask the bread shop where you purchase this if a starter or yeast is used. &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;Avoid sourdough made with yeast&lt;/i&gt;. For the most part, sourdough products in the grocery store or at restaurants are made form yeast and are not very healthy for you.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Sourdough products made with a starter are more readily available at health food stores and bread shops. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;Secondly, even though sourdough made with a starter is healthy for you, it is cleansing because it is high in carbohydrates. This means that it sends acids from you cells into your blood and bowel, where it will trigger symptoms, weight gain, and bad blood tests if you cannot eliminate these acids.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Therefore, &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;if you start this program and avoid bread and carbs, do not immediately introduce sourdough into your diet.&lt;/b&gt; On the other hand, if, when you start this program, you are eating other breads, pastas, bagels, and other carbohydrates, you will look and feel better if you replace as many of these with sourdough (or rice too, of course!). So if you usually eat a sandwich on wheat bread and can make one with a good sourdough, you will look and feel better doing so. If you usually have a bagel for breakfast, replace it with some good sourdough toast, and you will look and feel better.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;If you are lucky, you may be able to find other wonderful, good sourdough products in your town and at your health food store, like sourdough pizza crusts, bagels, pancakes, or crackers. And if you are really lucky, you live in San Francisco, sourdough heaven!. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;P.S.--I even had a client tell me that when she visits Mexico, most of the breads are made with sourdough, as is true in Europe and other parts of the world where a lot of bread is eaten, and people are not suffering with the same weight and health problems we are.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;"&gt;P.P.S.—just today, I read about a baker in France who became obsessed with baking the best bread in the world. His recipe? Sourdough bread. He sold $10 million worth of it last year! If you are ever in France, get some, and tell me what you thought about it! I am never concerned about the physical condition you are in as far as my ability to help you reverse this and heal your body; this is not limiting, except in the most imminent, life-threatening cases. The limitations in healing your bowel and body are almost entirely due to your emotional state of mind.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Healing requires patience, faith, forgiveness, hard work, support, and gratitude. Finding the purpose in your current situation is also very helpful.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;I often see clients who have spent a lot of time, money and energy trying to figure out how to heal their physical body. Personally, it took me thousands of dollars and thousands of hours to accomplish this. My book is the result of this experience. It contains all of the information that you will ever need to completely and permanently heal your bowel and body and eliminate health, weight, and other problems. Therefore, if you have extra time and money on your hand, instead of reading more books on health, I encourage you to devote it to your emotional health. This can take the form of therapy, reading books on this topic, joining support groups, and/or connecting to a religious organization that supports you. The following information is just a small sample of ideas and advice to you to help you succeed in this process. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-size:14.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Patience&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:14.0pt;layout-grid-mode: line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;The hardest part of this program for many of you will be having the patience to heal, but you will need this to be successful. With this information, you can live a very long time; &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;you will have the time&lt;/i&gt; to attain your health and weight goals. Unlike the “treat the symptoms with crutches” approaches, with this program, daily you are making progress to a healthier, thinner, longer living you.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;One step at a time&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;If your body is particularly unhealthy, and/or you have a lot of weight to lose, take it one step at a time. Focus on your month-to-month progress, not the end result. I had to do this when writing my book. When I thought about all that I had to do, I easily became overwhelmed and paralyzed, and I avoided writing. When I took it one section at a time, and made small, attainable goals, before I knew it, I had written 700 pages. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Don’t analyze on a daily basis&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;I am very much against the idea of weighing yourself every day, or focusing on your health and weight on a daily basis, either. This creates stress and unrealistic expectations. It also directly leads to a greater tendency to engage in harmful, quick fix approaches.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Rather than dwelling on your goals, absorb yourself in the process of healing and eating more healthfully. The important thing is the here and now. Every day, imagine yourself becoming healthier and stronger; imagine your body eliminating old, acidic/toxic, and unhealthy cells and replacing them with stronger, healthier ones. Eventually, all of this will get you to your goals, but you will possibly miss these goals if anxiety over the process sets in. It may seem like a large feat to replace billions of cells with healthier ones, and therefore imagining the end-result of this process may become too overwhelming and distract you from success in achieving it. Keep the focus on today, and this process becomes much more possible, and much less intimidating.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Don't strive for perfection&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;Put your ego aside and focus instead on just becoming healthy. To become healthy, you do not have to eat or live perfectly. The process should be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. My experience has been that clients who try to follow this program perfectly all the time often take l&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;onger&lt;/i&gt; to get to their destination than those who let go and have faith in the journey. Perfection- seeking is a form of control, and trying to have complete control over this, or any other aspect of your life, is impossible. Relax, and know that you will attain your goals and reach your destination, health and weight-wise, in due time.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Quick fixes create really big long-term problems. Do you &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;really&lt;/i&gt; think it’s worth it?!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;It is extremely hard to resist the temptation of a quick fix. Thousands of health and weight loss books have been sold because they promise this, and millions of you have fallen for it over and over again.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Ironically, the more often you go down the quick fix road, the longer you will struggle with your health and weight. You may lose ten pounds in one month, only to find that two years later you are ten pounds heavier than you were when you started the quick fix diet (as well as hundreds or thousands of dollars poorer.) If you then follow another quick fix program, in another two years you will be no better off, even if you “immediately” see an improvement again. So, four years later, you are still unhealthy and overweight.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;If you decide, “enough is enough” and heal your bowel and body, you may not see an immediate improvement. But in four years, you will look and feel better than you ever have, and you will be able to maintain this effortlessly for the rest of your very long life (unless, of course, you get hit by a bus, for example, although if you are healthy, your chance of surviving that bus accident is much higher than if you are not!)&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;A client came to me many years ago and after only three months, she got frustrated and gave up. She was only willing to devote three months to healing her fifty-year-old body, or 600 months worth of an unhealthy bowel and the accumulation of acids. She ran off to a quick-fix alternative doctor in town who put her on a high protein diet. She lost some weight (temporarily!), but had also developed diabetes, a condition she did not have when I saw her. She called me at this point, wanting to work with me again, and conveying the same need for a quick fix. She had still not learned her lesson. I turned her down as a client, because I knew she wasn’t ready to get better, and that I wasn’t going to be able to help her. After all that she did, she still didn’t get it.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;I do not judge all of you who have fallen for these “too good to be true” scenarios. I did too. &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;The good news is that many of my most successful clients are the ones who have failed with these programs, who now get that there isn’t an easy miracle cure. They are committed to healing their body, and they have a high rate of success in achieving this. In fact, if someone comes to my office that has not failed at the quick fix programs, I am leery. The temptations are far too great and very prevalent. Everywhere you look, someone is promising you a miracle cure or weight loss program. It is like being on a strict diet and having people approach you every day with a smorgasbord of rich, decadent desserts. You may have the strength to turn them down for a while, but let’s face it; eventually, most of you will cave into the temptation and buy one.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;As hard as it is, every time you see or hear of a quick fix, immediately move away from it. Get out of its space. Do not listen or read anymore about it. If it is on television, turn it off. Surround yourself with others who support, respect, and admire your efforts to heal your body, and the time it will take to do this.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;And don’t worry, as hard as it is initially to watch others look and feel better much faster than you, give it some time, and you will find out that they have failed. When your friend gets rid of her headaches in two days on a high protein diet, and you haven’t, you will, sadly, find out that in the near future, her headaches are worse than ever, or she has developed a new, more serious problem in its place.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode:line"&gt;If you do not give this program at least one &lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;“it will fly by faster than you can imagine” little year to show you that it works, (nothing, compared to the decades that most of you have had unhealthy bowels and bodies!, and nothing compared to the decades you will spend with short term success but inevitable failure if you follow the crutch approaches), you will never succeed in attaining a symptom-free, addiction-free, disease-free body, free of weight struggles and obsessions. Of this I am certain.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;layout-grid-mode: line"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; When you eat less protein, more of this trash gets dumped into your dirty kitchen, making a mess; more of these acids dump into your blood triggering health and weight problems. Are you eating the EXACT same amount of animal protein as you were when you started this? It is 99.9% likely that you are NOT. &lt;/b&gt;So add it back and be patient. (Learn more about viral infections by reading my previous post.)&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h2&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Cambria; font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weight:bold;font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style: italic"&gt;Sinus infections, some cases of the flu, staph, pneumonia, bronchitis, strep throat, fungal infections, most cases of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Cambria;mso-bidi-font-family:&amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;; font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weight:bold;font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style: italic"&gt;diarrhea that last more than three days, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Cambria;font-weight:normal; mso-bidi-font-weight:bold;font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style:italic"&gt;and e-coli are examples of bacterial infections.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;A healthy bowel eliminates bacterial infections.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt"&gt;The good bacteria in your bowel are your “army” that kills off these invaders.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;h2&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Cambria; mso-bidi-font-family:&amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;;font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style: italic"&gt;Crutches for infections&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;  &lt;h2&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Cambria; mso-bidi-font-family:&amp;quot;Times New Roman&amp;quot;;font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;font-style:normal;mso-bidi-font-style:italic"&gt;Until your bowel and body are healthier, the following crutches can help prevent infections, and they can help you feel better faster if you become ill. Take these as directed on the label, doubling the recommended dose for a few days for best results. These cannot make you feel worse. They also have zero possibility of weakening your immune system, interfering with “immune-suppressant” drugs if you are taking them, or of making you “addicted” to them.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Crutches for bacterial infections&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt; include &lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="color:#FF0000;"&gt;colloidal silver&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span class="Apple-style-span"  style="color:#FF0000;"&gt;goldenseal&lt;/span&gt;. &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; contains goldenseal and can be helpful in preventing these infections, but it is possible that you will need something more powerful at times. (Acidophilus does not contain goldenseal, so if you are using this to heal your bowel, you will need to use these crutches too.) Goldenseal can be purchased at any health food store, but not all stores carry colloidal silver. It can be ordered online. High quality silver can be purchased from&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt; &lt;/b&gt;“Purest Colloidals” at 609.267.2112, &lt;a href="http://www.purestcollidals.com/"&gt;www.purestcollidals.com&lt;/a&gt;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Colloidal silver has natural antibiotic properties and is generally stronger than goldenseal, and is preferable to use as a crutch for bacterial infections. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Recently, a magazine article appeared, as well as coverage on &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Oprah &lt;/i&gt;and the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Today &lt;/i&gt;show, about a man who turned blue using colloidal silver. This created some unfortunate, unnecessary concern about using this product. The man who turned blue has been taking colloidal silver daily for many years, and has even applied it directly to his skin. If this man healed his bowel, he would not need to use a natural antibiotic for many years. He needs to do this program! Even still, it is impressive that he wasn’t harmed by this extremely large dosage of silver that he has taken. If anything, his story confirms the safety of this product. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;&lt;i&gt;Y&lt;/i&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;i&gt;ou&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic; "&gt; will not turn blue, because you are healing your bowel, and therefore you won’t need to use very much of this product. Unlike him, you won't need a crutch, like silver, forever!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Take 2 teaspoons of silver a day, or 4 teaspoons if you do not feel better and/or your stools do not firm up by the next day. If you have a bacterial infection, this product should help you within the first two days of taking it. If not, consider that you either do not have a bacterial infection, or that it is bad enough to necessitate the use of a medical antibiotic. Bacterial infections can be much more serious than viral ones and much more difficult to treat naturally. If these crutches do not work for you soon, or you are very ill, go to your doctor and get antibiotics. Don’t take chances with bacterial infections, especially if you have frequently vomiting or frequent diarrhea. This is very dehydrating, and very dangerous. Keep in mind; it is not one round of antibiotics that made your bowel unhealthy. One round of antibiotics is not going to prevent you from healing it, either! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Re-read pages 195-196 in &lt;a href="http://www.ThisWorksCrutchesDont.com"&gt;“This Works, Crutches Don’t” &lt;/a&gt;for a greater explanation of this.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;When you are sick, use the right crutch. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;Taking zinc, which was recommended for viral infections in my last post, for a bacterial infection, or goldenseal for a viral one, is not going to help you. If you are uncertain as to whether your infection is a viral or bacterial one, use crutches for both.&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt; &lt;/b&gt;It will not hurt you to take one that you don’t need. More commonly, I see clients who are taking a crutch for a viral infection when they have a bacterial infection, and not getting better because of it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt"&gt;If you are getting bacterial infections often, or are very bothered by them, consider healing your bowel faster. In this case, go for it.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;Cons&lt;/b&gt;: &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;An unhealthy body kills you, not the flu &lt;/i&gt;(I suspect that the relatively few who die from it would have died from something else—cancer, heart attack, etc., soon anyway. Note: this is my educated guess.). Vaccines give you false sense of security that your immune system is healthier than it really is. They are a crutch and like all crutches, they do not heal you. Or make you healthier. There are dangers to vaccines as there are to all drugs, as they are all toxic and acidic (but the dangers of vaccines are also over-rated. Damage from mercury, etc. can only occur if you are already very vulnerable/unhealthy to begin with. See page 95 in “This Works, Crutches Don’t” for this discussion.) Finally, if you get the vaccine, you may still get the flu.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Personally, my kids and myself have never, and never will, get a flu vaccine. But if you do, it will not prevent you from healing your bowel and body.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;How can I protect myself from the flu, and what can I do if I get sick to recover faster?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;First and foremost, it is important that you use the right crutch. Crutches treat symptoms and can help you feel better faster. (Remember, &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; and acidophilus are not crutches. Taking more of them when you are sick, on the other hand, will not help you recover faster.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The flu (and a cold) is a viral infection, and these are defended by your lymphatic system (which is located at the “bottom of your pipe.”) Great crutches for this system are Echinacea and zinc. Do not use vitamin C (as discussed on pages 278-279 of&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;“This Works, Crutches Don’t.”) Take 100-150 mg of zinc per day or 30 drops of Echinacea extract, 5-6 times a day. These nutrients and herbs will stimulate your immune system to fight the virus. There is zero possibility of harm or discomfort from taking either of these. Bentonite is another fabulous crutch (and healing agent!) to use when you are sick, as it will “soak up” the acids in your blood and lymph that “feed” the virus. Flies (“germs”) are not attracted to a clean trashcan, only to a dirty, or acidic, one. So if your stools are looser or smaller than they should be, increase your bentonite by ¼ to ½ cup for a couple of days, too.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;(Note: if you do not get better in a few days or have frequent diarrhea, you may have a bacterial infection, in which case these crutches are useless. But this is not true:&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Probiotics like acidophilius are not live bacteria.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:16.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Probiotics produce an acid by-product in your bowel that helps the good bacteria that are there grow and multiply. The berberine and grapefruit seed extract in the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; DO THE SAME THING. I have explained this in my book—see pages 167-169 in &lt;a href="http://www.ThisWorksCrutchesDont.com"&gt;"This Works, Crutches Don't"&lt;/a&gt;—yet I still get tons of questions about this, implying that these misunderstandings are strongly rooted (and that I should have spent more time explaining this in my book!)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So I will provide another analogy for you, in my never-ending attempt to set you on the right road. (I suspect that I will STILL get many questions about how the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; can work if it has no probiotics in it, and all I can do is keep trying to “undo” your current way of thinking…)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you had no money, you would die (of starvation etc). Likewise, if you had no healthy bacteria in your bowel, you would die, too. If you had $4000 in the bank, you would want it to grow and multiply. To do so, you could invest this money in real estate, gold, a money market fund, a CD, etc. These are all different investment vehicles, but they all help your money grow and multiply (well, in the good ole days, but you get the point!). Likewise, there are many “investment vehicles” for your good bacteria, as well. One of them is probiotics. Another is grapefruit seed extract. Another is berberine (these last two are in &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt;). There is not one way to help your money grow, and there is not just one way to help your good bacteria grow and multiply, either. The majority of the clients that I have seen who have rebuilt the bacterial environment in their bowels have never taken acidophilus; they have done this exclusively with &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Probiotics—No refrigeration required?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Likewise, for at least two decades, most probiotics have been stored in the refrigerator, and the accepted thinking was that these “live organisms” would die if not kept cold. “Travel acidophilus,” which did not require refrigeration, was always considered far inferior. Likely, a number of bottles of acidophilus, and hard-earned money, has been “thrown down the drain” by those who accidentally left their acidophilus out of the fridge for too long. And how many of you have neglected to take your acidophilus because of the need for refrigeration? You either forget it, or find it is too inconvenient to travel with it that way.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So I was a bit shocked, and even upset, to receive a recent report from the manufacturer of the line of probiotics I carry (from a very large lab that specializes in these products) that found that after many months at 75 degrees—or a tad above room temperature—the strength of these probiotics was still in tact.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Wow. Why hasn’t this been done before? I have been ordering these products for 16 years and have never seen a similar experiment. Why are I, and you, paying to have these packed in ice, if this is not needed? &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Most of all, the greatest relevance of this information is the fact that it changes your perspective on these products. Maybe the companies who sell these like your accepted perspective—that this is a live bacteria marching into your gut and setting up camp? That wrong idea probably sells a lot of these. It is profitable for the makers of them.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So if you are taking probiotics like acidophilus, do not store them in the sunlight or in a room that is above 75 degrees, and if you still feel insecure about this test, keep them refrigerated. But do not throw them out if they get left out and you MUST stop thinking of this product as live bacteria. It does nothing by hurt your chance of success in healing your bowel! (Gee, if I am taking 400 billion LIVE organisms a day, it should take only a few months to rebuild my bowel…could be your dangerous assumption as a result.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Do I take these on an empty stomach or not?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If you read many different bottles of acidophilus you will find that some recommend that they be taken with meals, but most advise they be taken without. So what is the real deal? Like many things in this field, most practitioners “go with the flow.” I too am guilty of this at times (and even made the recommendation in my book to take them on an empty stomach), but largely because I am already “fighting” so many misunderstandings and fears, I simply didn’t want to add more. Having said that, in my extensive experience with these products, it does not matter when you take them. They work no matter what. More accurately, they work if you take the right amount and use them as healing agents, not crutches. Chapter 7 of &lt;a href="http://www.ThisWorksCrutchesDont.com"&gt;"This Works, Crutches Don't"&lt;/a&gt; tells you all you need to get results with these products. Do not let the inconsistencies in advice for their use—empty stomach or not—confuse or frustrate you. Good Form (the thing that matters!) is Not!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal" align="center" style="text-align:center"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;For many years, books that comment on the importance of proper elimination, and products that claim to help with it, have focused entirely on the frequency of your bowels.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Millions of dollars worth of colon cleansing, colon health, and bowel health products have been sold with the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;false assurance&lt;/i&gt; to you that they are helping make your bowel healthier, and helping you eliminate more toxins (acids).&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Because no on ever told you that the form of your stools determines how many acids are being eliminated, not frequency, you have bought into these products –that immediately improve your frequency but NOT your form—and you have bought into the idea that good form should be just as easy to attain as good frequency.&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;It is 1,000x more difficult and complicated to have good form to your stools than it is to have good frequency of elimination.&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Yet good frequency without good form is not healing, or helpful, to your health!&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So, if you have had experience with these other colon products—that always contain some type of irritant to the bowel like senna, cascara, aloe, prunes, or psyllium—and noticed an immediate increase in your frequency of elimination, be careful you do not expect the same result as you heal your bowel with Bowel Strength, or as you improve the form with bentonite. And while in the short run it takes longer to heal your bowel and improve the form, in the long run, your health and weight will be 1,000 times better if you do. I understand. Remember, I’ve been in these shoes. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Hence, many of you like to blame the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; for causing your discomfort, because you really want to believe that you can stop it and all of your problems will quickly and magically disappear! Sometimes you forget that you were feeling bad for a long time &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;prior&lt;/i&gt; to using this product (so what did you blame then???). &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Ironically, if you live in fear of this product, your life will be &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;more&lt;/i&gt; fearful as a result! If you do not heal your bowel with this product, you will spend your shortened life living in fear--over what you eat, stress, old age, disease, etc….&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;So let me help make this simple, and less scary, for you. &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;In 99% of the clients I work with, the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; is &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal"&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; too strong, and therefore does not cause any symptoms, for at least the first year of use.&lt;/b&gt; If you have not used it for at least this long and you feel bad, the odds are &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;extremely&lt;/i&gt; low that you will feel better if you stop it (so don’t!) &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;On the contrary, if you are feeling bad, the chances are &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;very&lt;/i&gt; high (99% likely) that the cause of this discomfort is that “rain is hitting your roof that has holes in it and your house is getting wet as a result.” In other words your blood has become too acidic and because your bowel is not healthy enough to eliminate these acids, you are feeling bad. Now, if you keep healing your unhealthy bowel, then, and only then will you be able to eliminate your “feeling bad” days!&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;I know you don’t want to believe that stress, too much fruit, too much alcohol, too much eating out, not enough sleep, your massages, your trip to the dentist, your travelling, your over-consumption of Girl Scout cookies, your lack of water, the fumes from your new paint job, or your new 2 hour a day exercise program are causing you to feel bad. I know you want to blame the &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Bowel Strength&lt;/i&gt; instead, but you can’t do this if you are going to fulfill your maximum health and weight potential. For the last 4-6 months, the majority of these have focused on the “wonders” of vitamin D (and many of you have been led to believe that the addition of it to your diet will markedly improve your life and protect you from disease.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Vitamins do not prevent disease—scientific studies have proven they don’t—rather, they are crutches that treat symptoms, and you have all been wrongly and dangerously led to believe that if you have few symptoms, it means you are healthy and will live a long time. &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;It may concern some of you at times that I do not follow in the footsteps of all of the “miracle vitamin D” recommendations and make the same to you, but you should not be concerned. On the contrary…&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The concerns I have about the vitamin D mania are as follows. One, while vitamin D is a crutch like all others; this crutch is not necessarily a safe one! Vitamins A, D, and E are fat-soluble, which means that you can retain excess amounts in your fat cells, and they can accumulate to toxic levels. None of the crutches that I recommend can do this! (By the way, of the many studies I have read about the wonders of this vitamin, none have been long-term, which means the long-term consequences of these recommendations have not been observed, either.)&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Two, your kidneys produce calcitriol—the active form of vitamin D—&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;when they are healthy.&lt;/i&gt; So, rather than take a lot of this fat-soluble vitamin, you would be much healthier, and safer, healing your kidneys. And by the way, “most people don’t learn about kidney problems until it’s too late, because most kidney disease don’t produce symptoms, says Leslie Spry, M.D., of the National Kidney Foundation. “Symptoms don’t appear until 60 to 70 percent of kidney function is lost.” (Chronic kidney disease has become more prevalent in the last 10 years, which is largely the result of our higher consumption of protein during this time.) Of course, &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;when you heal your bowel, you heal your kidneys too…&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;You also get vitamin D from sunshine. Sun does not cause skin cancer—it is merely a trigger. Your skin is an organ and like all others, the more acidic it is, the more likely you are to damage this organ and get skin cancer! Of course, &lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;when you heal your bowel, you heal your skin, too…&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;When your kidneys and skin are healthy, your vitamin D levels will be healthy, too. If you take vitamin D and do not heal these organs with this program, you can dangerously think you are healthier than you really are. If your vitamin D levels are low due to unhealthy kidneys and skin, you are vulnerable to an earlier disease (like cancer and heart disease), as these organs “at the bottom of your pipe” protect your organs at the “top of your pipe”—like your heart and cells (so you don’t have a heart attack or die from cancer…) So, when you do this program you not only get healthy kidneys and skin and therefore ideal levels of vitamin D without supplements, but you create organs that protect your heart and cells. &lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt;Supplementation with vitamin D alone does not and cannot offer you the same protection.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Ultimately, the harm of using this vitamin D crutch is consistent with the harm of using any crutch, as discussed in Chapter 4 of&lt;i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"&gt; This Works, Crutches Don’t. &lt;/i&gt;Still, if you choose to take this vitamin while you are healing your bowel and body that is fine. Why?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Because in order to succeed in healing your bowel and body, and to look and feel good while doing so, it is imperative that you “blame the right thing!”&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Your greatest chance for failure in this program occurs if you blame the wrong thing (for your weight, symptoms, and bowel problems, like gas, loose stools, etc)&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;This is never truer than when summer rolls around! &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;In fact, I forget about this and soon am reminded of it, and begin starting every consultation with the question, “how many peaches and cherries are you eating?”&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;More times than I can count, a client has blamed the Bowel Strength, this program, the bentonite, their calcium, or some other product that they NEED to find long lasting, effortless health and weight maintenance for their poor bowels, increased symptoms or weight—when the real blames lies in all the summer fruit they are consuming (and not jut cherries and peaches, but plums, apricots, pineapples, etc.)&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Summer fruit is healthy for you, and I think it is this knowledge that lead’s one to neglect to blame it for their problems. How can something that is good for me make me look and feel worse, you may ask.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;The answer is that summer fruit is very cleansing. It moves acids from your cells into your blood and bowel, and when your bowel is unhealthy—as yours is until you have healed it!—this causes worse elimination, and the re-absorption of these acids back into your blood and lymph, causing every symptom under the sun!&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;If you have clogged arteries or cancer this reaction might be something you would need to put up with—move acids in your blood and fewer in your organs and cells does help prevent death, but the majority of you are not focusing on your heart and cells, rather your weight and symptoms. And more acids in your blood than you can eliminate makes your weight and symptoms worse, not better!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt"&gt;Bottom line: I know these fruit are sweet, in season for a limited time, and hard to resist—but try not to overdo it with them. They are not hurting you, but hurting you if you wrongly blame the things you need—your Bowel Strength, bentonite, calcium, etc—when you should really blame the fruit for causing problems.
